We had huge success at the Birmingham School Games yesterday, with girls competing in rowing and badminton. In rowing, our Year 9 team won their team relay, with the Year 10 team coming in second and the Year 11 team coming in third for their year groups. In the individual competitions, Grace Rees took first place and Alex Akins took third place in the Year 9 competition, with Maddy Shay taking third place for Year 10 and Imogen Evans taking second place for Year 11.
In badminton, the KEHS team finished in first place, which means they will go through to the next round where they will compete against the best teams in the region. The team consisted of Gracia Gong, Michelle Sum, Krithika Manigandan, Cathy Ge and Aditi Bhat.
