Two team from KEHS entered the Junior Splash Lifesaving Competition on Saturday at EHS. The 14-16years (Juniors) had four girls in their team even though we needed six so the girls had to take turns to swim extra legs for the races. They were up against teams with extra swimmers with boys in the team as well as girls. Eleanor Bickley, Rebecca Haddon, Amelia Ratcliffe and Hanna Kisiala (not pictured) plus Molly Sanders (Team Manager) put in an amazing team effort to clinch the trophy by two points. Well done and congratulations girls you truly deserve the medals and trophy.
In the 13yrs and under (Novice) age group the team consisted of Sparsha Shetty, Emma Vuong, Sara Vogt, Ellie Hannah and Katie Skilling who won the fancy dress contest in Hawaiian dress and also came third, a brilliant result for their first gala.
Thank you to the parents and friends who came along to support the event by donating raffle prizes and adding to a great atmosphere which the teams loved.
